‘Bringing Colour to CAMHS’
Staff News // NHS Forth Valley :
‘An artist is being commissioned to work with staff and young people to bring a touch of colour and creativity to premises used by our local Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in Stirling Health and Care Village and The Manor in Falkirk.’
Artlink Central Director, Kevin Harrison, explained: “Key areas to develop artwork will include reception, treatment rooms, corridors and waiting areas. The expected outcome will also be different across the two sites. For Stirling, the commission is for semi-permanent, surface-based artwork, while for The Manor in Falkirk, a more temporary solution will be more suitable, such as framed or otherwise easily movable work. The main aim is to achieve the right balance in the style of work to suit the various different age groups who use CAMHS.”
