What follows is a blog-based case-study that tracks the development of an Arts for Mental Health and Wellbeing commission within the CAMHS service in Stirling and Falkirk during 2022. The project is formed out of a collaboration between NHS Forth Valley, Artlink Central and Artist, Robyn Woolston. The purpose of the commission was to create a series of artworks, and interventions, to accompany the patient journey across different areas of the building from arrival-to-waiting, though treatment and onwards to departure.
“The importance of architecture as a trigger to physical, physiological and psychological wellbeing is nowadays becoming a topic of significant relevance.”
